Welcome to CMTC!
CMTC means Canossa Magalhães Training Center. It is owned and managed by FdCC Sisters. The building was donated by Mr. Magalhães, a Portuguese and was endorsed to former president Ramos Horta.
This is open for public who are interested to learn English and Portuguese languages; and computer programs. This training center is located next to Canossa convent in Lecidere.
Our Mission
- Enable the students to gain confidence in developing in themselves the English skills on speaking, listening, reading and writing
- Equip graduates with English language capability to pass any scholarship exam offered in the country
- Enable the graduates to pass UNTL national exam and have opportunity for scholarship offered by Singapore donors at least for the first 10 CMTC students
- Provide better opportunities or graduates to be successful in securing good jobs either in Timor-Leste or overseas where a basic requirement is fluency in English
Our vision
Educate and form youth in the intellect, spiritual and moral domain, who value culture, history, social living and personal integrity able to be independent as to support family and self, hence contribute to the development of the nation.
